Devices Configuration
The Devices Configuration plugin is where you can manage device-specific details and settings for your MyEyedro account. A Device is a physical piece of hardware with or without sensors. Devices are associated with one or more Display Groups for presentation in various plugins (see Display Groups Configuration for details).
- Device List. Displays a list of all device that you have added to your MyEyedro account. NOTE: Only devices you own are shown.
- Add Device button. Click this button to add a device to your user account.
- Add Virtual Device button. Click this button to add a virtual device to your user account. NOTE: This functionality is not available to all users and requires a virtual device license.
- Selected Device. Displays the label and details for the selected device in the devices configuration plugin.
- Delete Device button. Click this button to delete the selected device from your user account.
- Device Info panel. See details below.
- Device Settings panel. Click the Edit Device Settings button to enter the editing form.
- Device Data panel. The most recent measurements reported by the device (updated every few seconds). NOTE: This panel is only visible to devices containing sensors. Data columns are dependent on the device model and type(s) of data.
- Alerts panel. Expand this panel to manage alerts associated with this device.
- License Key panel. Expand this panel to manage device license(s).
- Display Groups panel. Expand this panel to see a listing of all display groups associated with this device.
Device Info
- Model. Displays the model number for the selected device.
- Serial Number. Displays the serial number of the selected device.
- FW Version. The current firmware version. NOTE: If a newer version is available, an Update Firmware panel will become visible in the plugin directly below the Device Info panel.
- MAC (advanced). MAC address of the device. NOTE: Devices with multiple methods of connectivity may have more than one MAC Address shown.
- IP Address (advanced). Displays the last IP Address assigned to the device (local network IP Address). For devices with onboard webservers, you can click the Browse button to open a browser tab to display the devices onboard dashboard. NOTE: The device used to access MyEyedro (i.e. your laptop, phone, etc.) must be connected to the same local network as the device in order to use the Browse function.
- Wi-Fi SSID (advanced). The ‘name’ of the Wi-Fi network currently connected to. Click Forget to clear the provisioned settings from the device.
- Reboot Device (advanced). Click to perform a soft reset on the selected device.
- Wireless signal quality. Displays the most recent wireless signal quality reported. The icon changes colour depending on quality/strength. Hover over the icon to see the numerical representation. NOTE: Only visible for devices connected wirelessly.
- Show Advanced Info. Check to show advanced device information fields. Uncheck to hide.
