Add Site

To add a site, navigate to the Sites Configuration plugin. Click the ‘Add Site‘ button. This will open a form which is used to specify the details.

Site Editing Form

  1. Site Label. Label should be unique and descriptive for easy identification. ‘Jane’s House’ is more descriptive than ‘My House’.
  2. Time Zone. Important*: Ensure you select the correct time zone to get an accurate data representation in timeline graphs.
  3. Country.
  4. State/Province.
  5. City (Optional). Used in some tools, plugins and reports to display location on a map.
  6. Latitude (Optional). Used in some tools, plugins and reports to determine information such as solar radiation.
  7. Longitude (Optional). Used in some tools, plugins and reports to determine information such as solar radiation.
  8. Floor Area (Optional). Used in some tools, plugins and reports to normalize energy data based on floorspace.
  9. Occupancy (Optional). Used in some tools, plugins and reports to normalize energy data based on occupancy.

 

After you’re satisfied with the data entered, Click ‘Submit‘. The newly created site will now appear under the Site List.
