4.5.2.Add Display Group
NOTE: You can only add sensors from Devices that have been claimed under your user account (i.e. those shown in the Device List from the Devices tab).
- Open the Display Groups page under Configuration.
- Click on the “Add Display Group” button in the bottom left of the Display Group List.
- A new Display Group, called “New Display Group” will be added to the list and the “Edit Display Group Settings” tab will be pulled to the front.
- Enter the Display Name for the new Display Group.
- Select the appropriate Display Group Type to assign it to your new Display Group.
- Select the sensors you would like to include in your new Display Group from the “Sensors” list by checking and unchecking the appropriate boxes.
- Click on the “Submit” button to add the new Display Group to the account.
Energy Category
Field | How It’s Used | |
A | Display Group Label | User defined label assigned to the Display Group |
B | Category | The type of data source to monitor (i.e. Electricity, Volume, Temperature) |
C | Sub-Category | A more granular description of what is being measured within the Category (i.e. Grid Electricity, Renewables, etc.) |
D | Purpose | Designates the purpose of the electrical circuit being monitored. Note: This field is strictly for organizational purposes. |
E | Site | The Site this Display Group belongs to. |
F | Rate Profile | The Rate Profile this Display Group utilizes for billing. |
G | Data Sources | A list of device sensors that can be include in your Display Group by checking the box to their left. |

Field | How It’s Used | |
A | Sub-Category | A more granular description of what is being measured within the Category (i.e. Water, Natural Gas, Compressed Air) |
B | Display Units | The units to display measurement data in (i.e. Gallons, Liters, Cubic Feet, Cubic Meters). |
