    3.5.Cost Estimator #

    The Cost Estimator tool estimates the consumption and cost to operate common home and office devices.

     FieldHow It’s Used

    A

    		Common DevicesA list of common devices found in buildings and homes. Selecting a device from this list will populate the Demand field.

    B

    		DemandTypical consumption for a device selected from the list. Can be manually set and adjusted if your particular device consumption is different.

    C

    		DurationHow long the device is on (typical).

    D

    		FrequencyThe number of times the device is on in a given time period (typical).

    E

    		CalculateRuns the calculation based on the information entered.

    F

    		ResultsCalculated results for various time spans.

     

    Additional Options

    Cost Estimator Settings

    1. Plugin Options Button to expand the options panel.
    2. Select the currency format to display cost.
    3. Check More Options to view and customize additional plugin settings.
    4. Set the Average Hourly Rate to be used in cost calculations.
