2.2.2.2.Demand Threshold Continuous
Continuous demand alerts are triggered when measurement data continually fulfils the greater than/less than/equal to zero condition for the full duration configured.
Field | How It’s Used | |
A | Alert Type | The type of event you want to be notified of (i.e. instantaneous, average, continuous). |
B | Data Type | The type of measurement data to watch. |
C | Operator | The check made against your measurement data. |
D | Threshold | The comparison value (in minor units) used in greater/less than operators. |
E | Duration | The duration of the continuous window. |
F | Label | The alert identifier and subject line for email alerts. |
G | Custom Message | An optional message to include in email alerts. |
H | Email Recipients | A comma separated list of emails you want to receive the alert. |
I | Show Advanced Settings | Expand the Alert Settings form to show advanced configuration options. |
The list of advanced settings can be seen below.
Field | How It’s Used | |
A | Limit Detection Frequency | Prevent alerts being sent multiple times in a short period. |
B | Do Not Detect Again For | The cooldown period in minutes after the alert has been generated. |
C | Limit Number of Notifications Sent | Enforce a max number of alerts to receive. |
D | Maximum Email Per Day | A hard limit on the number of alert emails received for this event on a given day. |
E | Limit When Notifications Are Sent | Enforce restrictions on the date and time when email alerts will be generated. |
F | Start Time | Alerts will only be received after this time. |
G | Stop Time | Alerts will only be received before this time. |
H | Days | Alerts will only be received on days that have been checked. |
