Live current readings – what is the reading rate? (Readings per minute)
How much data is transferred in a day from 2 CTs? Limited internet.

          Hi Alastair,

The readings are based on change, so the information gathered varies on your own personal rate of change within your home. This number could frequent from several hundred to several thousand changes in a day. The bandwidth is also dependent on your changes, but typically it is less than 1MB per day.

When I install the module in the panel do I need internet connection to it directly or does it transmit by wireless to the gateway module which is connected to the internet??

          Hi Mark,

All Eyedro products are designed to take advantage of the myFreeMonitor cloud based services – thus requiring the product(s) to be connected to the internet at all times. There is a small amount of internal memory to store data in the event of a temporary disruption to your internet service.

On a wireless model, only the gateway needs to be corrected.

          All the best,
