Since 2011, Eyedro Green Solutions Inc. has proudly delivered the MyEyedro cloud platform under a freemium model. Thousands of businesses and homeowners around the globe have relied on our software to monitor, analyse, and report on their electricity, water, and gas usage. Many of our valued customers have enjoyed over 10 years of continuous energy monitoring at zero subscription cost.
While operating, securing, and scaling cloud infrastructure requires substantial resources, Eyedro has historically absorbed these hosting and operating costs. As part of our commitment to platform longevity, system security, and continuous software enhancements, we are transitioning to a more balanced model. With these updates, Eyedro remains one of the most generous energy monitoring platforms in the industry: access to real-time telemetry, live dashboards, core monitoring tools, and standard analytics remains completely free.
The default (free) cloud data storage limit for an unlicensed meter will change from 2 years to 2 months.
All Eyedro meters come with a Standard meter license for the first 2 years, so this only impacts meters > 2 years old.
We expect this change will have minimal impact as most users (after the first 2 years) focus on energy data within the last 30 days only.
MyEyedro features and day-to-day use continue as-is otherwise..
Please review your MyEyedro account to understand when your Eyedro meter license expires.
If you wish to archive your historical measurement data locally, simply use the Data Exporter tool to download the data of interest.
Alternatively, see the MyEyedro Cloud page to add a Standard or Pro device (meter) license to increase the data storage limit.
